This week, we have been exploring the notion of identity. In the lectures, it was stated that identity is a moldable concept about oneself. This brings to question what it takes to form an identity. Typically, we think of forming identity in the earliest years of our lives based upon experience and exposure to a variety of people and things. However, if you consider the fact that we are always growing and learning and that our identities are molded around lived experiences, we could think of identity formation as something that goes on throughout our lives.
